Children at risk on kik

Kik is a place children are at risk:

If you search through the kik groups on kik there are some very disturbing groups out there. Many are titled from as little as 12 year old children up to 40 being able to join. Common sense can tell you were this is going and after having reported more than should even existent it's also the case that the owners certainly do not look to be minors. 

The problem is however that there will be no way for these people to actually be found outside of kik since to sign up you don't need a mobile number and you can easily make some fake name or of course if reported just rebuild a new kik and continue on. 

I'm unsure if these people actually do engage with underage people in illicit terms but to be around minors in this kind of setting.... I mean think about that for yourself. Please be aware of this if you are a child or parent reading this, don't let your children join these groups and check what they do on their phones or computers. The internet is a scary place. And kids our there stay clear of a group where people are much older than yourself.
